What carrier exercise you take? carriers that dont accept sim cards and are not supported are Alltel, Cricket, MetroPCS, Verizon. These companies have a motorola v262 only are non sim card phones.

Re: V262- where is the SIM card?!
yep, historic period old discussion...unfortunately it seems a larger problem hither in the U.S. Two different bands of frequency, GSM (which the norm uses sim cards) and CDMA (which service is attached not to a sim just to the ESN).
Why carriers can't employ a standard beyond the board...I don't know.
Edit--Who could forget expert ol' (and perchance extinct soon) iden!

Re: V262- where is the SIM card?!
Whether the carrier does or does not support SIMs, would the camera not all the same have the "space" for a SIM located in the aforementioned spot? Thus getting dorsum to the first question... where would the SIM exist located in a Motorola V262 if it did be?
We are using Telus & Rogers hither in Vancouver and they are SIM friendly.I as well pulled out the battery and tried to discover it, just to no avail.
Does anyone know how to open up one of these suckers?CMG
My Bad...
I meant Phone, not Camera...I'thousand non a consummate moron, but apparently moving in that direction...
