What carrier exercise you take? carriers that dont accept sim cards and are not supported are Alltel, Cricket, MetroPCS, Verizon. These companies have a motorola v262 only are non sim card phones.

yep, historic period old discussion...unfortunately it seems a larger problem hither in the U.S. Two different bands of frequency, GSM (which the norm uses sim cards) and CDMA (which service is attached not to a sim just to the ESN).

Why carriers can't employ a standard beyond the board...I don't know.

Edit--Who could forget expert ol' (and perchance extinct soon) iden!

Re: V262- where is the SIM card?!

Whether the carrier does or does not support SIMs, would the camera not all the same have the "space" for a SIM located in the aforementioned spot? Thus getting dorsum to the first question... where would the SIM exist located in a Motorola V262 if it did be?
We are using Telus & Rogers hither in Vancouver and they are SIM friendly.

I as well pulled out the battery and tried to discover it, just to no avail.
Does anyone know how to open up one of these suckers?
